Ciclo VII

This course aims at providing students with the necessary basic didactic and pedagogical knowledge for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). The main focus of the course is to provide effective tools to teach the four main language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) in an integrated manner. The course is a theoretical-practical component linked to the Practicum components.  It is also connected to the Courses Didactic Approaches in TEFL and Teaching Techniques in EFL I which are prerequisites. The overall idea is that the students become autonomous and creative agents able to use a variety of teaching techniques, strategies and materials for various teaching purposes, which is to be evidenced in the lesson plans and materials designed. The tasks and activities planned and designed will be demonstrated through microteaching sessions in the classroom.
